The mission of the Mount Pleasant Art Society is to cultivate a vibrant artistic community that fosters creativity, collaboration, and appreciation for the arts. The Mount Pleasant Art Society hosts a variety of workshops that provide participants with focused, hands-on experiences in different artistic mediums. These workshops are designed to enhance skills and inspire creativity, catering to a wide range of proficiency levels.

Art Shows
The Mount Pleasant Art Society's Annual Membership Show held every March, it is a highlighted event that showcases the diverse talents of its members. This exhibition provides a platform for artists to display their works. Members are invited to submit their best pieces for consideration, creating an inspiring and dynamic collection that reflects the society's commitment to promoting the arts.
Titus County Fair
The Titus County Fair, is a cherished annual event that brings together community members of all ages, from children to adults. This fair celebrates local culture, agriculture, and the arts, providing a vibrant platform for showcasing the talents and creativity of the region.
Children and adults have the opportunity to participate in art contests and hands-on activities , sharing their passion and connecting with the community.
Art Demonstrations
The Mount Pleasant Art Society offers engaging and diverse art demonstrations monthly, providing members and the community with the opportunity to explore various artistic techniques and styles. Each session features professional artists who showcase their expertise in different mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media.

Oil Paint Day - Tuesdays
This group meets at 9am-3pm, all are welcome, no instruction artists just paint.
Water Colorist Day - Fridays
This group of artists meet 10am-2pm, all are welcome, no instructions, artists just paint.

The 1st Sunday of every month from September to May, we meet to discuss society business as well as an Art Demonstration.
